Sarai Team


	Sarah – Salon Director Sarah is the owner and Salon Director of Sarai and has been with the salon since it opened in 1993 although actually started hairdressing in 1989. In 2002 I became a partner in the business and took ownership of the business in December 2005. In April 2006 I re-branded and created Sarai Hair & Beauty. It was time for a whole new experience and to achieve this, the salon needed to evolve and change with the times. I wanted to create a professional experience and a wonderful feeling of calm and give great advice. I have experience and knowledge in all forms of beauty treatments & hairdressing and I am also the in-salon trainer for the company – My main inspiration is my Team. I am always trying different ways to grow and expand the business to ensure its ongoing success; I am always happy to hear feedback regarding the salon and team to improve and deliver the service our clients have come to expect. I know how important on-going training is with the continual changes in the fashion industry and I continue to receive training myself as well as training the Sarai team, in and out of the salon. ‘You can never stop learning, education is important and motivating. The team has a passion for learning and we always strive to be the best we can.’ The Sarai team are talented motivated and captivate creativity.
Renee – Artistic Team Director At the age of 18 Renee joined the Salon as a trainee, and after working in the company since 2001 has worked her way up to be Artistic Team Director. Her personality is one of her many strong points along with her technical & artistic skills and outstanding customer service. She has a passion for competitions and in 2006 was in the regional finals for the Wella Trend Vision; runner up in the GHD ‘Gura’ 2007; and recently achieved 2nd place in the ‘Capilar’ Earth, Wind and Fire competition. Renee is also our wedding specialist, has completed her NVQ in training and has now joined our creative training team.
	Sue – Artistic Team Director Sue trained with Toni & Guy and joined the team early in 2007. Sue is creative and full of new ideas catering for all of your needs, will make you feel relaxed and is creative in her own individual way. She has excellent customer service skills and a real advanced and creative flair. Sue is also one of our wedding specialists. Please note: Sue is currently on maternity leave.
Hayley P – Creative Designer Hayley started Hairdressing in 1990 and joined the team in 2001. Hayley specializes in all aspects of hairdressing, has brilliant barbering skills, precision in cutting and excellent customer service.
	Erica – Creative Designer Erica joined the team in 2001 and after taking time out to have 2 children she is now part time and specializes in all areas of hairdressing. Erica is an excellent all round hairdresser.
Finola – Senior Stylist & Beauty Therapist Finola started her career in hairdressing with the salon and has become a passionate hairdresser who has worked her way from a trainee to a senior stylist. She is imaginative and creative adding sophistication to desired styles. In 2006 Finola decided she also wanted to be involved in the beauty side of the fashion industry and in August 2008 completed her beauty NVQ. With a flair for both hairdressing and beauty treatments, Finola now works two days a week in the beauty salon and three days a week in the hair salon. Finola enjoys making her clients feel and look great and loves to give the whole package
	Wendy – Creative Designer Wendy has been hairdressing for many years and is one of our part time Creative Designers. She joined the team late in 2006 and covers all areas of the hairdressing trade. In her creativity, she considers clients face shapes, skin tones, clothes and lifestyle. She is also one of our wedding specialists whose passion is learning new skills, being motivated and creatively inspired.
Hayley T – Senior Stylist Hayley has been with the team for all of her career and completed her NVQ in all aspects of hairdressing in 2006. Hayley continues to expand her knowledge within the industry and is showing a huge interest in hair up and is involved with the wedding specialists.
	Aimi – Senior Stylist Aimi joined the team as a trainee, completed her NVQ in 2007 and continues to grow and train showing excellent potential and expanding her knowledge within the industry. Aimi has a real passion for hairdressing as well as assisting in the management and day to day running of the salon. She loves making people feel wonderful and strives to provide the best possible service and individual attention.
Natalie – Stylist Natalie joined the team in September 2007 and after studying a photography course decided to try her hand at hairdressing, something she always had an interest in. She completed her NVQ in all aspects of hairdressing in November 2009. Natalie has a real creative flair and passion and is always on the look out for models. Natalie is passionate about what she achieves and is creatively inspired.
	Kelsey – Graduate Stylist Kelsey joined the team in July 2007 and completed her NVQ in all aspects of hairdressing in November 2009. She is extremely helpful and friendly with all clients and is always on the look out for new models to assist in her training. Her strength is in her customer service and she loves making people feel good and special.
Kelly – Junior Stylist Kelly joined the team in 2004 working part-time on Saturday’s and after school. She’s now full time and in her first year of training for an NVQ in hairdressing. She has already got a great relationship with both clients and the team and is showing a real flair for hairdressing. Kelly is flying through her training and her passion for the clients’ needs shines through. She is always on the look out for models.
	Vanessa – Assistant Vanessa has been part of the team for 15 years, specializes in Indian head massages and is an asset to the company and the team. She loves making her clients feel relaxed and calm to start their experience within the salon.
Aimee, Vicki & Lisa – Receptionists Always on hand to help and well respected by both clients and the team. Our front of house team is passionate about your experience being wonderful and will make you feel relaxed and welcome when you walk through the door.
	Gemma – Senior Therapist/Assistant Manager Gemma joined the team in May 2006, she has over six years experience and outstanding beauty and product knowledge, is trained in all aspects of beauty and specializes in the Caci non surgical facial treatments. She is an excellent therapist with outstanding customer service who strives on giving her customers individual attention with hands on professional advice. She will make sure you feel relaxed and wonderful during and after your experience.
Laura – Senior Beauty Therapist Laura joined the team in 2009 and has been a beauty therapist since 1998. After working on the cruise ships and developing a wide range of skills, Laura now continues her career base in salons. Laura is a very enthusiastic person, loves a new challenge and is an asset to Sarai. She has a huge wealth of knowledge and experience and has bought some great new ideas to the salon.
	Mai – Massage & Beauty Therapist Mai has many years of experience and specialises in traditional Thai massage, Swedish massage, aromatherapy massage, deep tissue massage and reflexology. Mai is continuing to expand her skills and is now involved in other aspects of beauty including facials, waxing, Thai manicures and pedicures. She is extremely passionate about her work and has an amazing reputation after helping a number of clients with stress, tension, medical problems and relaxation. Mai has worked in a number of five-star spas in all corners of the world and originally trained in her home town in Thailand. Mai is an asset to the team.
Lisa – Beauty Therapist Lisa joined the team in September 2008, is trained in all aspects of beauty and continues to grow her knowledge on advanced beauty treatments. A pleasurable member of the team who has a passion for making her clients feel good. Lisa thrives on education and wants to expand her skills.
