Sarah is the owner and Salon Director of Sarai and has been with the salon since it opened in 1993 although actually started hairdressing in 1989.

In 2002 I became a partner in the business and took ownership of the business in December 2005. In April 2006 I re-branded and created Sarai Hair & Beauty. It was time for a whole new experience and to achieve this, the salon needed to evolve and change with the times. I wanted to create a professional experience and a wonderful feeling of calm and give great advice.

I'm very passionate about training, whether it's for me or for others, it strengthens everyones knowledge, and make's a tighter team. The team has a passion for learning and we always strive to be the best we can. I love bringing out the best in each and every team member. My main inspiration is my team, they are talented, motivated and captivate creativity.

Our mission is to make sure you have the best experience, we aim to discover what is important to you and deliver excellent service which will stay in your memory.

I am always trying different ways to grow and expand the business with new and exciting ideas to ensure its ongoing success; I am always happy to hear feedback regarding the salon and the team to improve and deliver the service our clients have come to expect.

I pride myself and my team in giving excellent customer service and I believe in ensuring all my clients not only love their finished look but are also happy with the whole salon experience.

In 2011 Sarah was awarded one of Englands 100 top employer's for apprenticeships and training. Sarah was singled out because she shows hugh commitment to training and forkforce as well as developing the apprenticeship schemes.

Amiee is passionate about your experience being wonderful and will make you feel relaxed and welcome when you walk through the door. Amiee loves working in the hairdressing industry, she feels coming to the salon should be an exciting and fun experience, not daunting and intimidating. Aimee anticipates you will have an experience unlike any you have had before, from the moment she greets you at the door to when you leave.

As well as front of house, Aimee is also one of the salons' managers, she feels it is important to have a happy motivated team and has a passion in strengthening everyones knowledge and making a tighter team with better customer service skills.

She is always on hand to help and is well respected by clients and the team.

Lisa is passionate about your experience being wonderful and will make you feel relaxed and welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Lisa strives to make sure you have the best experience not only on your first visit but each time you enter Sarai, she wants to make you feel special by offering the best 5* service possible. Lisa's passion is in the business, she has watched the salon grow and is an integral part.

As salon manager, Lisa is also involved with the motivation of the team as well as training on outstanding customer service.

Lisa is always on hand to help and well respected by clients and by the team.

Sue joined the team in 2006 after taking time out to have her daugter and is now back working two days a week with plenty of experience after being in the creative industry for 20 years, training and working with Toni and Guy.

Sue's experience really allows her to deliver a personal one to one service, always striving to make her clients enjoy their time with her. She loves the ever evolving and changing fashion in hair and embraces new challenges, is patient and a perfectionist in her work.

Sue is also part of the wedding specialist team.

At the age of 18 Renee joined the Salon as a trainee, and after working in the company since 2001 has worked her way up to be a Salon Director.

Renee's personality is one of her many strong points along with her technical & artistic skills and outstanding customer service.

During the early stages of her career, Renee had a passion for competitions and in 2006 was in the regional finals for the Wella Trend Vision; runner up in the GHD ‘Gura’ 2007; and also achieved 2nd place in the ‘Capilar’ Earth, Wind and Fire competition.

Renee is also one of our wedding specialists. Renee has always been very passionate with creating the perfect look for every bride. She has a flair for all types of looks from contemporary to retro looks

After taking a year out to have a family, Renee is now back working two days a week

Hayley started Hairdressing in 1990 and joined the team in 2001. She specializes in all aspects of hairdressing, has brilliant barbering skills, precision in cutting and excellent customer service.

Hayleys experience allows her to deliver one to one service, always striving to make her clients enjoy their time and experience.

Erica joined the team in 2001 and after taking time out to have 2 children she is now back working 3 days a week.

She specializes in all areas of hairdressing. With a passion for ensuring the clients experience is amazing, she strives on making her clients look and feel great, whatever their style.

Finola started her career in hairdressing with the salon and has worked her way from a trainee to a Style Director and is a truly passionate hairdresser. She is imaginative and creative adding sophistication to desired styles.

In 2006 Finola decided she also wanted to be involved in the beauty side of the fashion industry and in August 2008 completed her beauty NVQ. With a flair for both hairdressing and beauty treatments, Finola now works one days a week in the beauty salon and four days a week in the hair salon.

Finola has now got a passion for training and is currently completing her training degree to teach and inspire others, she is a real inspiration to the team.

Finola enjoys making her clients feel and look great and loves to give the whole package.

Wendy has been hairdressing for many years and is one of our part time Style Directors. She joined the team late in 2006 and covers all areas of the hairdressing trade.

In her creativity, she considers clients face shapes, skin tones, clothes and lifestyle. Wendy's experience really allows her to deliver a personal one to one service. Wendy aims to make her clients look and feel stylish and confident.

Wendy is part of the training team for Sarai and has a passion in watching the team grow and train in strength and knowledge.

Wendy is also one of our wedding specialists whose passion is learning new skills, being motivated and creatively inspired.

Hayley has been with the team for all of her career and completed her NVQ in all aspects of hairdressing in 2006.

Hayley continues to expand her knowledge within the industry and strives in being the best she can be, making sure her clients have the best experience and customer service she can offer.

Wedding and formal hair up is a speciality of Hayleys, who enjoys working on contemporary and bespoke bridal hair styling, she is part of the wedding specialists team.

Hannah joined the team as a trainee, completed her NVQ in 2007 and continues to grow and train showing excellent potential and expanding her knowledge within the industry.

Hanna has a real passion for hairdressing, She loves making people feel wonderful and strives to provide the best possible service and individual attention.

Hanna is our hair extension specialist and loves transforming clients with our fantasic rapture hair extensions. Hannah is also one of the salon’s wedding specialists, she enjoys a mixture of vintage and retro styles as well as contemporary bridal hair up styles.

Natalie joined the team in September 2007 and after studying a photography course decided to try her hand at hairdressing, something she always had an interest in.

She completed her NVQ in all aspects of hairdressing in November 2009. Natalie has a real creative flair and passion. She is currently studying her level 3 NVQ in hairdressing which is giving her a more advanced take on the industry.

Natalie is passionate about what she achieves and is creatively inspired. Her main passion is her clients, she loves transforming them and empowering them with the confidence to be ready to take on the world

Kelsey joined the team in July 2007 and completed her NVQ in all aspects of hairdressing in November 2009. She is extremely helpful and friendly towards all clients.

Kelsey's strength is in her customer service and she loves making people feel good and special. Kelsey has a flair for hair up styles and is now part of the wedding specialist team.

Kelly joined the team in 2004 working part-time on Saturday’s and after school. She’s now full time and completed her hairdressing NVQ level 2 in mid 2010

She has already got a great relationship with both clients and the team and has a real flair for hairdressing. Kelly's passion for the clients’ needs shines through; she enjoys building relationships with her clients so she fully understands each customers needs. Kelly also wants to deliver the best possible service.

Vanessa has been part of the team for over 15 years, specializes in Indian head massages and is an asset to the company and the team.

She loves making her clients feel relaxed and calm to start their experience within the salon.

Louis has been with the team since the middle of 2009 and is now training for his NVQ 2 in hairdressing, we are really pleased to finally have a guy in the salon especially someone like Louis who is lovely with the clients and is always happy to help.

Louis has a real passion for the business and will make a wonderful stylist with a creative flair

Georgia has been with the team since early 2009 when she first started on work placement. We saw real potential in Georgia so she then started working every Saturday. Now Georgia is full time and  training for her NVQ 2 in hairdressing. Georgia is very passionate about hairdressing and is eager to learn

Gemma joined the team in May 2006, she has over seven years experience and outstanding beauty and product knowledge. Gemma is the beauty salon manager with a growing team of 5.

Gemma is trained in all aspects of beauty and specializes in the Caci non surgical facial treatments. She is an excellent therapist with outstanding customer service who strives on giving her customers individual attention with hands on professional advice.

Beauty has always been a passion for Gemma because she feels it is so incredibly individual, she loves enhancing a persons natural beauty.

Gemma's professional bubbly personality will make you feel relaxed and wonderful before, during and after your experience.

Vicky joined the team in January 2011; She has a passion for the beauty industry and wants to develop her knowledge and ideas in the salon, she is forward thinking and full of fresh new and innovative methods.

Vicky loves watching her clients leave extremely happy, not only with the treatment but at their experience and time spent here at Sarai. Vicky is passionate about her indepth consultations and makes sure every client has a treatment tailored for their needs, she wants her clients to feel relaxed and pampered on every visit.

Laura joined the team in 2009 but has been a beauty therapist since 1998. After working on cruise ships and developing an extremely wide range of skills, Laura now continues her career based here in the salon.

Laura is a very enthusiastic person, loves new challenges and is an asset to Sarai. She has a huge wealth of knowledge and experience and has bought some great new ideas to the salon. Laura loves making her clients feel special, makes sure her treatments are tailored to the individual and through her in depth consultation she really starts to understand and meet the needs of each client.

Laura will be going on Maternity leave in March and returning in January 2013

Lisa joined the team in September 2008, is trained in all aspects of beauty and continues to grow her knowledge on advanced beauty treatments.

Lisa specialises in '3D lashes' eyelash extensions and gets a buzz from how it makes her clients feel. the before and after effect is amazing.

A pleasurable member of the team who has a passion for making her clients feel good. Lisa thrives on education and wants to expand her skills.
